This lovely track starts at Bobbin Head in the southern section of Kur-ring-gai Chase National Park. It begins at the far end of the main car park and follows a boardwalk over mangroves, which allows you to get up close to the saltwater wetland ecosystems and birdlife. The track winds through bush, crossing the Cockle Creek several times before climbing up rock stairs before reaching some Aboriginal rock engravings at the waterhole. This flat area is ideal for a workout, utilising rock outcrops and tree trunks while enjoying the stunning view.
